Some things about this picture:
- He is so sleepy he can hardly stand up.
- The scratches on his face aren't chicken pox. (They're from an unfortunate encounter with Daisy. Unintentional, of course.)
- He holds Birdie by his tail like that.
- He is wearing a fire department sticker he got from the fireman that came to check our CO detector. (False alarm.)
- His toe is poking out of his pajamas.
- His hair.
- I love him.

Max used to carry his mama fish like that--by the fin that is. He is such a doll.
