Ladybugs and Dihydrogen Monoxide


The kids got to release ladybugs at the gardens again this year. I was at Youth Conference, so I didn't get to go, but by all accounts it went well. The older boys loved having ladybugs crawl all over them, Daisy was nervous and giggly, and Junie studied everything intently.

We had a great time at Bridal Veil Falls with our cousins, twice. (I only have pictures of the first time, unfortunately.) Daisy took to Sarah right away and would hardly let go of her hand. Sarah was so sweet and kind to her. We wish all of our Nelson cousins lived closer! The boys tried to scare Karl with their "dihydrogen monoxide" warnings, but didn't succeed. You can't fool a physicist (and you can't teach a sneetch).

This is what happens to you when you have three brothers.

We've been loving the rain, and hoping it puts out all the fires!

The Fourth
