Splash Pool

We had a fun time at the splash pool this week and were glad we went before all the rainy weather started! Even Malachi enjoyed himself, dipping his feet in the water, chomping on his seatbelt strap, and trying to smile even though the sun was in his eyes. (He is such a good baby!)

Sebby was walking around and around the pool, making this awful, raspy "vhhoooooooo"-ing noise. Finally I asked him, "Are you a monster?" and he said "No, I'm a sweeper truck." He was swishing his hands along the bottom of the pool like brooms or brushes. He was so serious and focused about it. He just kept going around and around, for maybe a half hour, saying things to himself like, "Now the brushes are turning on! Now it's going to go up the hill!" etc.

Also, here are some of the pretty wildflowers that have been out all over this week:

Holy cow! You guys live in the best place ever. And I guess the town's lucky to have you if you're three year old takes it upon himself to clean the splashpool for a full 1/2 hour!

Your boys are growing up son handsomely! They look so much alike but with their own twist on the Nielson/Nelson genes. What cute boys, and what a fun mom to take them to the splash pad!

I'm jealous that you've been able to swim at all. It's still pretty cold in Logan. I bought a little backyard pool, and the kids are dying to get it out, but haven't had warm enough weather yet.
Cute preschool pictures!
