(True, they were technically more "reminders" than "announcements"---since we sent them out two months after the birth, and since we could "announce" the birth almost instantaneously on the blog---but it's still a beautiful picture, isn't it?)

I thought that was a photo! Amazing! You are so lucky. I would have that man doing projexts for me constantly! What I would give to be that talented.
It was so fun to hear from you! I'm assuming you are living somewhere in Utah right? Those fall colors look gorgeous. I can tell you have a flair for photography...and it helps you live in the best place ever. :) I miss those Canyons. The painting of Daisy is stunning. And your Goldilocks and the three bears...my favorite Halloween post this year! I go back and forth trying to decide if I'm going to do much with blogging this next year, but whenever I get on, I'll look you up and see what you're up to! Hopefully I will see you around town...we often visit in the summer and winter holidays.
I just received mine in the mail today and I really did think it was a photo! I thought, disappointedly, oh, too bad Sam ran out of time to draw his daughter! She had to make do with a photo instead. Well, I can tell you I am EATING my words! Eating them, I tell you. (Although they never actually came verbally out of my mouth in the first place.)

Thanks for sending this beautiful picture! Sam continues to amaze me--what a talented guy! My kids loved the picture and it was agreed that Daisy is a very cute baby.
