"Are they twins?"
People often stop to comment on the boys at the grocery store or other places, and lots of times they ask, "Are they twins?" Since Abe is a full head taller than Seb, I'm not sure how this could work, but I guess it's hard to tell when they're both sitting down. Anyway, the same could be wondered about Sam and Abe, apparently. (And Sebby didn't want to be left out of the picture, so there he is.)

Two boys with drumsets (7 a.m.)
One month old
This one shows how small he is!
Here are the ways Malachi has progressed in the one month since he was born.
1. Spatially. (He is bigger. But he is still quite small; see above)
2. Cosmetically. (Eyelashes--he has them now. Or you can see them because his eyes aren't so swollen.)
3. Orally. (He smiles a lot. Although not often when you're trying to take a picture of it.)
4. Optically. (Doesn't go cross-eyed as often)
5. Flaccidly. (Not as floppy)
What an exceptional child! (and wearing such an adorable outfit!)

Tiny Ky
Malachi is getting bigger, but he's still small enough to fit in some very tiny places. Sebby talks to him in this tiny, squeaky voice, so high you can hardly understand what he's saying.
In the Bear Highchair--not happy (trying to eat hand)
Sebby pushing Ky in the stroller. (Don't blame me for that weird smile Seb has in the picture above. I don't know where he got that.)
Ky in the doll bed, next to Red Mama and Red Baby. (Actually Ky looks redder than either of them!)

The Behhhhhhst Monkey
We went to Brick Oven one night and the Balloon Man made us this monkey. It's the best monkey we've ever seen (except in this picture one of his arms and one of his legs have already come unwound, but you can imagine him in all his glory).
And then I just like this picture of Sebastian in front of him. His chin looks very pointy and he's got his eyes open (rare for a picture of Seb; just look back through the posts if you don't believe me).

Some Words To Live By, provided by Sam
"Just because something makes an interesting sound or has buttons on it, doesn't mean it's something to play with!"

Farewell to Bumper-Off
We finally had to say farewell to our faithful Bumper-Off (that's the name Abey and Sebby gave to our car after our accident this summer) when he wouldn't pass inspection this month. Bumper-Off was still running (although with various creaks and jerks, and fluids leaking, including maybe gas? because we were having to fill up ALL THE TIME), against all odds, even after our mechanic told us he wouldn't fix _anything else_ on this car because it would be a waste of our money. But I guess in order to renew your registration you have to have a bumper ON (a clear case of cosmetic discrimination). Abey said, "I bet Bumper-Off is glad he can finally go to the junkyard and have a nice rest."
