Sunflower

Oh how I love dressing this little girl up for Sunday.  She is so darling!

She thinks Sebby is SO hilarious:

And two rosebud pictures for good measure:
Saying "vvvv."  Soon she'll be driving things around with her brothers!

May flowers

We had a lovely evening at Red Butte Garden the other night.  We even saw one of these:

We were very surprised to see that there were still hundreds of daffodils out!  I'd like to get some of these late-blooming varieties for our yard.

Forget-me-nots---so sweet.

Very interesting daffodil---it looks almost like a rose

Springtime (miscellaneous)

The tulips (various varieties) are still looking gorgeous around here.  Once the daffodils all die out, I console myself by looking at tulips.  And once the tulips die out, it's truly Spring, and I don't have to console myself with anything! :)

Here are a few more pictures I've been meaning to post, with no particular coherence:
Daisy being "peek-a-boo"ed at.  She is always willing to laugh at her brothers (she really makes me work for a laugh, but gives them out freely to the boys)

Two squished children and one possessive one.  This is the "nurturing instinct" coming out in Sebby, right?

Goofy laugh

Noticing something above.  An airplane?

Blue, brown, blue

Daisy may be tiny, but this two-child lift still requires a combination of superior strength and superb balance from the carrier

Little Hat

There are some children, presumably, who like wearing hats.  There are other children who do not.  Daisy falls into the latter category.  But at least she found my repeated attempts to re-hat her amusing, rather than offensive.  For a while, anyway.

I bought this little hat and dress when I was expecting Sebby, I think.  I hoped some baby of mine would get the chance to wear it someday.  I'm glad the day finally came!

She won.  No more hat.  And she is quite pleased about it.

Pretty Daisy

This tiny girl is so petite and pretty.  She is even getting some of what one might (generously) call "hair."

Biting some guy's feet

I love her bright eyes!

On a related note, Sam and I made silhouettes of our kids for our Mother's Day cards this year.  I realize silhouettes are kind of trendy right now, and you may debate their merits elsewhere, but what I wish to point out is that first I made Daisy's head too round:
Something about it looked wrong to me, so I looked more carefully at the photo I'd taken, and noticed that her head, in fact, has a dip in it.
Ah, much better! :)
Here are the other little darlings.  So sweet!
