Junebug is three!

This lovely girl turned three! Here she is wearing her birthday dress. I love the little hat with her short hair!
We had a picnic and played at a playground for her Birthday dinner. Since she just said "Yes!" to everything I asked her (she loves all food), I chose the menu: ham and egg salad on rolls. (It was the day after Easter, after all.)
She is so brave and capable! I love three-year-olds! She loves to try something new and then do it again and again until she's good at it. She loves to be involved with whatever is going on, and she's such a good helper!
She and Daisy are such good little friends. They love to sing and dance together, and they love wearing matching outfits (often ones they've cobbled together themselves).
We think she's the best little three-year-old in the whole world! We love our Junie!

That infernal nonsense 'Pinafore'

When Abraham saw Goldie in this dress, he said, "Oh no, she's wearing that infernal nonsense Pinafore!" (Which, as I'm sure you know, is a quote from Pirates of Penzance---the Major General's song: "Then I can hum a fugue of which I've heard the music's din afore/ And whistle all the airs from that infernal nonsense Pinafore.")

Pictures of Daisy (and me!) wearing this outfit can be seen here.

Easter and other festivities

This was our most bunnyful Easter ever! Nutmeg was very obliging, considering. We posed him for picture after picture.
I took these pictures of our Easter Dinner Table especially for Kenneth. Yum!

Some of us got up to watch the lunar eclipse.
It was beautiful!

Enjoying the rocket display at ATK which we discovered near Promontory Point. This is a space shuttle rocket motor (you can see the tiny children standing under it).

. . . everyone is playing "twins" these days!
Daisy likes to twirl.
Goldie rides the train,
and falls asleep.
Others ride the train, but don't fall asleep.
Junie wears one of my old dresses.
People are cute getting ready to go to church,
and coming home.
