Little Garden

We planted our little garden plot in the Community Gardens last week. Everybody helped: Abe and Seb pulled out weeds and got all muddy in the water sprinklers (respectively), Sam hooked up the dripline and timer, I put in the plants, and Malachi sat in his stroller and looked cute. We have tomatoes, peppers, yellow squash, zucchini, chard, and basil. (I have a few other herbs in pots at home.) It's a very tiny garden, but we had fun planting it and we're hoping some things will grow!
(I don't know what Abe is doing in that last picture. He has a very funny expression on his face; plus, he looks like a giant.)

Seb in action

I like these pictures because they capture "the real Sebastian." He is always running, jumping, or waving his arms (usually accompanied by some kind of sound effect). In the bottom picture, he has just said to me, "I'm a windmill, Mommy. If you get hit by the blades, they will cut you. Yike this."

Bunk Beds

I remember that one of the great things about having bunk beds is that you can make forts. Here are the boys in one of theirs (they also like to put all their bears and monkeys and Malachi in).

"I yuv our new house, Mommy!"

Abe and Sebby supervising the packing up at our old house

First day---picnic at a playground

First Sunday---ready for churchNo kitchen table yet
We are in our new house now, and we love it! (Sebby says so about 30 times a day.) We especially love exploring the neighborhood and finding new playgrounds to play on. We are slowly getting unpacked and settled in, but we already feel like it's home.

Ky eats donuts

Now that Ky is 5 months old, he's starting to roll around and try to get places. He wants to keep up with Abe and Seb already! He loves to play in his little play-tunnel and bat at the toys dangling from it. But even more than that, he likes to roll out and push up on his arms and then laugh about it. He actually seems quite pleased with himself all the time these days, whether it's for grabbing my necklace or biting a donut or making cute noises to make us look over at him. We love him!

Hooray for Sam!

Sam graduated from BYU a couple weeks ago. He never got anything besides an A! Meaning he has the highest cumulative GPA in our family, I believe. We are so proud of him--good job, Sam!
